Also... I never really picked up the AIDS allegory in 'The Addiction.' It's so easy to say a film about an infection transferred through blood is just a metaphor for AIDS. I thought 'The Addiction' was far more about the destructive desire for knowledge, power, and spirituality. Granted it has been a while since I've seen it... maybe it'll make me forget how much I hated Lili Taylor on 'Six Feet Under.'
